Mortgage Capital Management (MCM) provides pipeline risk management, secondary marketing consulting, servicing valuation, trading, and hedging services for mortgage bankers. MCM enables its clients to increase profits and reduce earnings volatility by applying sophisticated, proven analytical techniques and modeling and execution practices developed through close to 40 years of successful mortgage banking experience by its principals.

FSI is the sole IT services provider for MCM providing services ranging from server and workstation management, backup and disaster recovery, user account and email setups, and general IT help desk tasks so MCM’s employees can focus on their core business, capital management.


The primary objective of the project is to re-engineer the MCM corporate IT infrastructure to enable the support of additional clients with minimal increase in IT overhead. 


Forward Slope performed a complete redesign of the MCM Windows-based Local Area Network (LAN) and is managing the entire IT infrastructure for MCM from internet access to firewalls, switches, wireless LAN devices, servers, workstations, and Website hosting. This has given MCM executives the freedom to focus on their core business while having access to highly skilled IT resources on-demand and minimizing their IT costs in the process. 

Recently, FSI worked with MCM stakeholders to plan and execute a cloud migration strategy for MCM’s core IT services to realize the additional cost and scale benefits of cloud-based solutions. 

The successful completion of this migration project is just another example of how MCM is successfully leveraging FSI’s technical expertise to run an efficient IT organization with minimal capital investment and administrative overhead.
