FSI Awarded $249 Million Contract to Provide Service Oriented Architecture Solutions
SAN DIEGO - July 27, 2012 - Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) announced today it was awarded a $249 million Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Multi-Award Contract (IDIQ MAC), to provide Core Infrastructure and Application Services Integration (CASI). FSI will be will be supported by CommIT Enterprise, Inc., Lockheed Martin Orincon Corporation, and Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation Tasking under this contract vehicle will support innovative small business-provided Service Oriented Architecture solutions which will be deployed into Government-managed baselines to be then further integrated into any corresponding common hardware/network environment interfaces. The goal is to provide the war fighter with a capability that utilizes core services based on a SOA to achieve the DoD’s net-centric strategy. CASI will provide the means for greater capabilities, reduced manpower requirements, simplified installation, and lower lifecycle costs.
