FSI Mentors Our Lady of Peace (OLP) High School Robotics Team

FSI has been sponsoring the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) catholic girls’ high school’s FIRST robotics team for a few years now. After this season's game unveiling in January, the FSI technical Mentors, Maddy Horn, Elizabeth LaForest, Jenny Tran, Ashley Mendoza, and Darren Tung ran an outstanding job preparing content for each OLP Training session as well as conducting the integrated training. There were virtual trainings on Zoom that covered a wide range of engineering topics (Git, Sensors Basics, Ultrasonic Sensors, Slalom Challenge).

Founded in 2002, Forward Slope is led by President and CEO, Mr. Carlos A. Persichetti. FSI opened its first office in Old Town, SD in 2002, providing support to the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWAR).

FSI Awarded The Peregrine Phase II Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Task

On 13 September 2021 Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded the Peregrine Phase II SBIR Task as the supporting corporate Team Member to the SoarTech Prime. This SBIR Phase II work will support NAVAIR’s interest in improving air and strike situation awareness, tactical planning, and plan assessment by providing 4D spatial temporal geographically referenced overlays that are compatible with the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and other related planning, assessment, and situation awareness tools.
