FSI Awarded Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific contract to provide software development and sustainment of DoD Government Open Source Software

On June 1, 2020, the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific awarded Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) a five-year task order under the Command and Control Technology and Experimentation (C2T&E) IDIQ to provide software development and sustainment of DoD Government Open Source Software (GOSS). Government systems often use GOSS components as critical elements and building blocks for their applications. Such systems include PEO C4I Application Arsenal (formerly Storefront), Maritime Command and Control (MTC2), Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), and Global Command and Control System (GCCS). The scope of the task order includes Software Support Activities (SSA) for Ozone technologies, as well as Common Map API (CMAPI).

FSI’s Mission Solutions Program Manager, Mr. Jason Mak stated, “FSI is honored and excited to be awarded this contract for DoD Government Open Source Software (GOSS). We look forward to leveraging our core capabilities and experiences with software development and sustainment towards advancing the government’s open source components.”
