FSI Awarded the NIWC PAC Integrated Logistics (ILS) Configuration Management (CM) Contract Support Task for the Navy’s 41150 Branch Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Programs.

On September 23, 2020, Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded METOC Task 002 under the overarching METOC ISEA MAC Contract by NIWC PAC, San Diego, CA. This is a severable, level of effort task to provide Integrated Logistics (ILS) and Configuration Management (CM)) Support for Navy and Marine Corps Programs and Projects supported by the Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Capability-Based In-Service Engineering Agent (CB-ISEA) for Program Manager Warfare (PMW) 120 and the Fleet Readiness Director (FRD).

The tasked Logistics activities include Supply Support, Technical Data and Configuration Management in establishing and maintaining life cycle sustainment for the Navy’s METOC Projects/Programs. These Programs and Projects include the Meteorological Mobile Facility (Replacement) Next Generation (METMF(R) NEXGEN), including the Satellite Multiband Transmission (SMT) replacement system development, integration and fielding, the Naval Integrated Tactical Environment System (NITES) IV Mobile Variant, the NITES-Next Generation (NITES Next), the Hazardous Weather Detection Display Capability (HWDDC), the Littoral Battlespace Sensing (LBS), the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS), the Primary Ocean Prediction System (POPS) and the Oceanographic Information System (OIS).
