FSI Supports Two Charity Drives for 2013 Holiday Season
SAN DIEGO - December 15, 2013 - Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) is a charitable corporation participating in two charity drives this holiday season.
FSI employees made donations and delivered bags of new clothing to a local San Diego middle school for “The Giving Tree’s” Adopt a Child program. The charity supports at risk and needy children.
FSI participated in the 23rd Annual San Diego Law Enforcement Teddy Bear Drive, hosted by Escondido Police and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. On December 13, 2013, FSI employees delivered bags of teddy bears and other stuffed animals to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. The teddy bear drive was started in 1990 by Police Officer Brian Hardy who would make a delivery to the hospital during the holidays to support sick and injured patients. Since then, the teddy bear drive has donated more than 1 million stuffed animals.
