FSI Tasked with upgrading System Radar Sites for Malaysian Armed Forces

Awarded on 09/30/2020: On behalf of the Malaysia Armed Forces (MAF), PEO C4I awarded FSI with the task of performing a technical refresh and modernization of existing Coastal Surveillance System radar sites and upgrade the Joint Regional Command Center. On 9 sites. The contract award is $10M

The Program Executive Officer (PEO), Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740), on behalf of the Malaysia Armed Forces (MAF), is performing a technical refresh/modernization of the eight (8) existing Coastal Surveillance System (CSS) radar sites and upgrading the Kem Kukusan Joint Regional Command Center (JRCC). The selected Contractor, FSI, shall design, procure, configure, install, test, and provide formal training on the modernized CSS sites and upgraded JRCC

FSI’s Systems Design and Integration Program Manager, Mr. Brian Guenther stated: "We appreciate the trust that PMW 740 has shown FSI in awarding us the Malaysia Coastal Surveillance System upgrade project. Malaysia will be the fourth country in southeast Asia where FSI has an active project, so we're excited to continue working in the region, and we look forward to helping PMW 740 provide the Malaysia Armed Forces with a critical Maritime Domain Awareness capability."
