FSI’s CTO Dale McIntosh Joins the Board of Padres Pedal the Cause

On August 24, 2020, Forward Slope’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Principal, Mr. Dale McIntosh, became the newest member of the Padres Pedal the Cause Board of Directors. The Executive Director, Anne Marbarger said, “the Padres Pedal Board of Directors was thrilled to hear of Dale’s interest and voted swiftly to bring him on board.” Mr. McIntosh will begin serving on the Board during their next board meeting on 21 September. For the past seven years, Forward Slope’s Charitable Giving Program has proudly been supporting the Padres Pedal the Cause mission in parallel to Mr. McIntosh’s own personal and family commitment to fund cancer research.

As stated on their website, the Padres Pedal mission is “to accelerate cures for cancer by funding collaborative research and clinical trials among San Diego’s top cancer research and treatment centers. Since its inception, Padres Pedal the Cause has donated more than $13 million to fund 62 local cancer research projects in San Diego, including six clinical trials and two team science awards. We provide funding for all types of cancer research, with grants awarded to fund explorative discovery research that target specific cancer types and universal studies that benefit multiple kinds of cancer and tumors. It is our goal that research funded by Padres Pedal the Cause will lead to increased survivorship and ultimately, cures for cancer.”
