Over the weekend of November 8, 2019, the elite FSI Running Team attended the rugged Nationally Syndicated Ragnar So Cal Trail, 24 hour mountain relay race. This annual race is held at the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation near Warner Springs, CA and was the 4th Ragnar Relay run by an FSI Team. The FSI Team finished 4th in the Corporate Open Division and finished a very strong 18th overall out of nearly 300 entered teams. Running in all four past FSI Ragnar events were FSI CEO, Mr. Carlos Persichetti and VP, Mr. Robert Clark. Running in his third FSI Ragnar was Mr. Sal Garcia, an elite distance runner. Completing their second Ragnars were Mr. Andrew Pidduck, Team Captain and a competitive ultra-runner, Mr. Tom Dumeny and Mr. David Hart. Running strong in their first Ragnar Race were rookies, Mr. Martin Davila, a former member of the UC Santa Barbara Triathlon Team, Mr. Ross Massey and Mr. Tyler Kirk. This year’s team also surpassed last year’s excellent results of 29th overall and also posted a superb sub 24-hour overall time.

Forward Slope, Inc. believes strongly in health, fitness and quality of life for our wonderful employees. Fielding an FSI Running Team of volunteers is just a reflection of that ethos, starting with our running CEO, Mr. Carlos Persichetti on down to some of our newest and youngest employees. This running accomplishment shows a commitment to a corporate personality of encouraging a healthy lifestyle and welcoming all to partake in the full multiplicity of fitness endeavors and a genuine focus on “across the board” employee welfare. Accordingly, FSI truly believes in the concept of the “FSI Family” where encouraging and supporting the health, fitness and quality of life of our employees are cornerstones of our FSI Corporate Personality. The bottom line is that 2019 was a tough, but successful RAGNAR race but we look forward to surpassing our 2019 achievement with an even stronger performance in 2020.”, Mr. Robert Louis Clark, CAPT USN (Ret), Vice President, Corporate Communications.
