On August 10, 2018 Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) announced that Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded the IDIQ contract to provide engineering services to include software development, testing, integration and documentation of Information Operations (IO) and Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) systems in support of Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) programs and SSCPacific Projects.

On August 9, 2018 Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (NIWC) Logistics and Fleet Support Directorate (4.0) announced that Forward Slope, Inc.

On February 22, 2018, Forward Slope, Inc. announced that it has been re-appraised at maturity level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®.  The appraisal was performed by Process Improvement Company, LLC. CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates Forward Slope, Inc. is performing at a “defined” level.

On January 12, 2018 SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) announced that Forward Slope, Inc.

Forward Slope, Inc., announced on January 17, 2018, the FSI team attended a very successful UCSD Career Fair. Our FSI employees met with hundreds of UCSD students while introducing FSI as a quality, successful equal opportunity technology corporation. They represented our many technical career opportunity positions and were role models for both men and women attendees. Over 100 resumes were collected in person, submitted by current and former UCSD students, and an additional 400 were received online to potentially fill several FSI open positions.

On December 18, 2017 NIWC Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) announced that Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded the task order to provide staff for Computer, Communications, Command and Control Information Technology (C4IT) engineering planning and support for the Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) Program Planning Office.  This task will include providing DPRI C4IT technical guidance for assigned Military Construction (MILCON) projects starting with the DPRI planning process through to C4IT installation.

On September 28, 2017, SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) announced that Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded the METOC ISEA Task Order 15 Contract to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration Management (CM) for the Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Capability-Based In-Service Engineering Agent (CB-ISEA) for Program Manager Warfare (PMW) 120 and Fleet Readiness Director (FRD).
